About The Boarding House
Opened in December 2012 by Owner and Master Sommelier Alpana Singh, The Boarding House is located in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood in a historic, multi-level building dating back to 1872. The restaurant includes an intimate, subterranean cellar lounge, a bustling first floor bar, and a dining room showcasing Alpana’s carefully curated, 450-bottle wine list that compliments Chef Tanya Baker’s Mediterranean-inspired, contemporary cuisine. Private events are available for groups of all sizes.
The Dining Room is open Monday and Tuesday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Bar is open Monday through Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to close.
